Welcome to the Chicagoland Replicar Association web site

The Chicagoland Replicar Association is a club comprised of members in the Chicago, Northern Illinois and surrounding areas,(we now have members from Wisconsin, Indiana, and Iowa) membership at this time is around eighty. Most of the vehicles are built from a purchased kit and components from other cars. To mention a few- we have MG's, Bugatti's, Cobra's, Lamborghini's, Alfa Romeo's, Bradley GT's, Jaguar's, Mercedes and many more.

Members are owners of replicars/kit cars, specially constructed vehicles or are just looking for the right car to have built or build themselves. We participate in many car related functions, shows, parades, etc. with the family

The Chicagoland Replicar Club is comprised of Replicars, Kit Cars, Specially
Constructed or Manufactured Vehicles, Component or Handcrafted Vehicles.

The club was organized in 1971 by the late Edward MacArthur, from Lake Forrest, IL.

Member, Bob Freeman designed the Logo ~ Race Doree, meaning, "The Golden Breed". The three grills are from a Alfa Romeo, Mercedes, and the Bugatti in the center, which is from a horseshoe. (Notice the "horse-shoe" shape of the Bugatti's grill)

Ken Smith has been President of the club for several years, and his wife Meha edits & publishes the newsletter.
